DIFC headquartered and DFSA regulated, Aurora FundAdmin Limited (Aurora) has partnered with Swiss wealth tech provider, Avaloq to launch its new fund administration business in Dubai UAE. Avaloq integrates blockchain and digital asset capabilities into traditional wealth management, allowing banks to offer crypto trading, custody, and tokenized asset processing

As per the announcement, by implementing the Avaloq platform, Aurora will establish a scalable operating model that automates and standardizes key processes, helping the firm increase operational efficiency, maintain high service standards and support future growth across the region. Aurora will implement the Avaloq platform as its core system for fund administration. This will enable a highly standardized and efficient operating model tailored to the firm’s requirements, with end-to-end processes running on a unified platform.

Aurora has been established to meet the growing demand for institutional-grade fund administration services in the Gulf. As a new, dedicated fund administration brand within the fast-growing BTA group, Aurora provides governance-led fund administration services for institutional clients, including fund accounting, investor services, financial reporting and regulatory support.

The Avaloq platform will enable Aurora to automate fund administration processes, strengthen controls and support regulatory reporting requirements through a single, integrated operating environment. The platform provides comprehensive fund administration functionality, including fund accounting, automated net asset value (NAV) calculation and validation, with real-time booking of fund transactions.

Aurora will further benefit from integrated data management for funds, automated earnings booking and income processing, and an intuitive dashboard for viewing individual and multiple funds. Avaloq’s open architecture also enables Aurora to seamlessly integrate third-party providers, including custodians and market data vendors, giving the firm access to additional services through a single platform.
