Fuze and Cairo Amman Bank to implement digital asset use cases in Jordan

UAE regulated Fuze, MENA’s digital assets infrastructure provider offering Digital Assets as a Service is collaborating with Jordanian Cairo Amman Bank PSC to bring new use cases for digital assets under the Central Bank of Jordan and Jordan Regulatory Sandbox’s (JoRegBox) regulated frameworks.
Both entities will look into how digital asset capabilities will be developed responsibly to advance Jordan’s banking system to better serve customers, institutions, and enterprises.
Cairo Amman Bank will examine how Fuze’s regulated Digital Assets as a service infrastructure can supports the bank’s services such as new product development, operations, compliance and technical enhancements. These will of course be subject to regulatory approvals.
This is possible because Fuze is already a participant in Jordan’s Regulatory Sandbox (JoeRegBox) allowing it to evaluate digital asset services in a controlled and regulated setting.
Speaking on the agreement, Dr. Kamal Al-Bakri, CEO of Cairo Amman Bank, noted that the bank is continuously working to improve customer experience and there are as he said “strong potential opportunities presented by digital assets. ” He added, ” The Jordan Regulatory Sandbox established by the Central Bank has enabled us to collaborate with Fuze and explore how we can enhance the digital banking journey for our customers and colleagues.”
While Mohammed Ali Yusuf (Mo Ali Yusuf), Fuze CEO, reitereated that Cairo Amman Bank is taking a thoughtful approach to evaluating digital asset services, grounded in regulation and customer trust.
