UAE based Capital.com to offer crypto trading to its clients

UAE regulated Capital.com to offer crypto trading to its clients

Capital.com, a regulated online financial trading platform, which has more than 800k clients across 10 global office locations, will be offering virtual-asset investment services to clients in the UAE. This comes after its affiliate Capital Vault Virtual Service L.L.C. -S.P.C in the UAE was granted a license by UAE’s Capital Market Authority.

As per the announcement, the license allows Capital Vault UAE to deal in virtual assets, either as an agent or as a matching principal, and to provide custody for virtual assets on behalf of clients. Bybit also recently received its crypto exchange license from the CMA as well.

Once live, Capital.com clients in the UAE will be able to buy virtual-assets outright through the Capital.com app and held in accordance with the client-asset rules applicable to a CMA-licensed custodian. Capital Vault provides that regulated layer, including execution, custody and settlement, under its licence, and operates from an office in Abu Dhabi. This follows Capital Vault Europe which was one of the first batch of firms authorised under MiCA’s CASP framework in December 2025.

Capital Vault operates as a separate regulated entity, focused specifically on virtual assets, with its governance, custody and risk arrangements held separately from Capital.com’s other regulated businesses.

Rahul Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, Capital Vault UAE, noted that the UAE is at the forefront of virtual asset regulation and CMA’s review reflects this. He also noted that they have now established an office in Abu Dhabi and are building their local team dedicated to virtual assets.

Tarik Chebib, Chief Executive Officer MENA, Capital.com, added, that Capital.com clients wanted and were asking for a straight forward regulated way to buy and hold virtual assets, and that the license allows them to bring this to their clients in the UAE with Capital Vault operating the infrastructure behind this.

He noted that more products will be introduced with additional virtual asset products being announced.
