RIV Technologies receives virtual asset license from Dubai’s VARA

RIV Technologies a Dubai based company which started out as a tech company, evolving into a virtual assets advisor focused on Fintech and DeFi, has received a license from Dubai’s Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority allowing it to offer virtual asset advisory services to institutional and qualified investors.
RIV Technologies offers as per their website, advisory services in relation to Virtual Assets for professional and institutional clients. It states, “We help clients understand virtual-asset markets and products, and support decision-making through structured analysis and clear recommendations.”
Their services cover both investment/market advisory and technical advisory and includes research and market insights, high-level allocation and risk frameworks, due diligence on projects and token models, and guidance on technology architecture and implementation for crypto-related use cases.
VARA recently licensed Xbase Virtual Assets Broker & Dealer Services LLC, part of of the RELM a virtual asset service provider license allowing it to offer crypto brokerage services. As per the license, XBase, one of the subsidiaries of RELM group will be able to offer spot OTC trading to institutional and qualified investors. The license unlike others is active and not just issued.
Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority has issued to date over 43 VASP licenses ranging from crypto brokers, to exchanges, to investment management, crypto custody and more.
