UAE regulated XBTO clients can now trade in USD and AED

XBTO Middle East, regulated out of ADGM in Abu Dhabi UAE has announced that its clients can now deposit, withdraw and trade in USD directly on the platform, expanding existing AED access and strengthening the firm’s offering for regional institutional and qualified clients.

The move comes after XBTO’s earlier Abu Dhabi push, when the company was selected by Hub71’s digital assets ecosystem and set up in ADGM, followed by its in-principal approval from the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Abu Dhabi Global Market and later its full 3A licence approval.

With the latest update, clients can operate one account across two currencies, using USD and AED for on-ramp and off-ramp activity, as well as for crypto trading. For Middle East clients, this adds a dollar-denominated route to a platform already built around local-currency access.

The new USD capability includes:

→ On-ramp and off-ramp in USD and AED

→ Trading crypto using USD and AED

→ One account with access to two fiat currencies

In June 2025, XBTO, and Arab Bank Switzerland announced they would be launching a Bitcoin yield product for its wealth management clients. The collaboration leverages XBTO’s proprietary “Diamond Hands” strategy to provide Arab Bank Switzerland’s clientele with an actively managed approach to generating yield on their Bitcoin holdings.

The expansion also sits within XBTO’s broader international footprint. Stablehouse, the Bermuda-regulated platform that is now part of XBTO, continues to provide access to USD and EUR rails for clients looking for both currencies.
