UAE Lunate to launch AI data power ETF on ADX

Abu Dhabi-based and FSRA regulated alternatives manager Lunate has launched an artificial intelligence (AI) data power exchange traded fund (ETF) to tap into the rapidly expanding digital economy. The Boreas S&P AI Data, Power & Infrastructure Ucits ETF will mark Lunate’s 20th ETF and the second thematic ETF within its Boreas range.
The new fund targets companies providing the infrastructure and power systems underpinning the fast-growing AI economy.
Licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA), Lunate Capital Limited, a subsidiary of Lunate Holding RSC Limited, acts as the fund’s investment manager.
The ETF will list on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) on 25 November, under the ticker AIPOWR, tracking the S&P Transatlantic AI-Related Data Center & Power Supply Infrastructure Index.
It will include 35 global companies such as Oracle, Siemens, ABB, Eaton Corp. and NextEra Energy, representing sectors powering data, computing and energy networks critical to AI growth.
Sherif Salem, partner and head of public markets at Lunate, said the launch aligns with the firm’s strategy to deliver a full suite of public market products. ‘This second thematic ETF expands our offering and addresses growing demand from investors seeking exposure to transformative economic themes.”
The ETF’s design was supported by Northwind, advisor to Lunate Capital on ETF strategy.
UAE FAB Bank has opened subscriptions for Lunate’s Boreas S&P AI Data, Power & Infrastructure UCITS ETF (AIPOWR) on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), with the offering period closing on 14 November 2025. The price has been set for 2.04 per share.
In August 2025, Lunate, with $110 billion in assets under management (AUM), and Brevan Howard, one of the world’s most successful hedge fund managers with AUM of $34 billion, formed a strategic long-term partnership to establish an investment platform to be domiciled in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), subject to regulatory approval which will include digital asset funds.
