The Arab Authority for Agriculture Investment and Equiti Group partner for Blockchain platform

The Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UAE licensed Equiti Group, a financial technology services, where it will explore the development of a platform powered by Blockchain and AI to enhance investment analysis and project management for AAAID’s portfolio companies.
AAAID intends to use the platform for more efficient capital mobilization and expand access to accredited investors.
As per the press release, Under the MoU, AAAID and Equiti will collaborate across several key areas, including the exchange of information and data required for feasibility studies, financial projections, capital requirements and operational planning to help build advanced market infrastructure for companies operating in food security, sustainable agriculture and related sectors.
The aim of the MOU is to strengthen the food security system and accelerate digital transformation across the agricultural and food investment sectors.
The MoU was signed by His Excellency Dr. Obaid Saif Hamad Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Board of AAAID, and Mr. Iskandar Akef Najjar, Group Chief Executive Officer of Equiti, at AAAID’s head office on 16 December 2025.
His Excellency Dr. Obaid Saif Hamad Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Board of AAAID, noted that the initiative marks a significant milestone in strengthening AAAID’s commitment to innovation-driven development. He explains, “It reinforces our efforts to advance resilient and inclusive food security infrastructure and to expand sustainable agricultural investments through cutting-edge technological solutions”.

We believe this collaboration will unlock new investment opportunities and accelerate digital transformation across critical sectors in the region”.
In 2025, Equiti partnered with UAE based D2A2 (Dubai Digital Asset Association), the MENA platform for regulatory discourse on tokenized real-world assets, to create a secure, transparent, and future ready digital asset ecosystem.
The alliance seeks to work to evolve the digital asset regulatory frameworks in the MENA region working with industry leaders, regulators policy makers and other key stakeholders such as the private sector.
