ByBit's first IPO on its Express platform is SpaceX

Bybit crypto exchange has launched its first IPO offering on Bybit IPO Express, with SpaceX. The IPO Express allows users to participate in the IPO subscription using crypto, offering early access before spot trading begins. SpaceX (Space Exploration Technologies Corp.) is the world’s leading private space company, founded by Elon Musk in 2002.

The SpaceX IPO timeline starts with registrations on June 7th until June 11th from 8:00 UTC until 8:00 UTC. Eligible users can register for the SpaceX IPO offering and review project details before subscriptions open. Users may submit subscription requests using supported assets such as USDC. Once submitted, subscription funds will be temporarily locked until the allocation process is completed.


Allocated SpaceX tokens will be distributed to users’ accounts on June 11th and 12th, while unused funds will be automatically refunded, and spot listing also starts on June 12th on Bybit Spot.

Only participants who have completed Individual Identity Verification Lv. 1 or Business Verification are eligible for this event. Please note that participants from restricted countries and regions are not eligible to participate in this event.

This event is not intended for users residing in the European Economic Area (EEA), which includes Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway. Participation in the EEA is strictly prohibited.

Also prohibited to participate are Bybit does not offer services or products to Users in a few excluded jurisdictions including the United States, the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada, North Korea, Cuba, Iran, Uzbekistan, Russian-controlled regions of Ukraine (currently including the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions), Sevastopol, Sudan, Syria, Dubai, or any other jurisdictions in which we may determine from time to time to terminate the services at our sole discretion (the “Excluded Jurisdictions”)

In Khaleej Times, Derek Dai, Bybit’s Mena Country Manager, described the response for the $75-billion IPO as markedly positive in the first hours since opening. “We have seen very positive momentum overnight since we opened up the Bybit IPO Express portal on Sunday afternoon, both globally and here in the GCC. It is a milestone in the way IPOs move across capital markets,” Dai told Khaleej Times.
