DVA crypto exchange receives license from VARA Dubai

Diment Va Exchange known as DVA has secured its full Dubai Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority license in the UAE to offer crypto brokerage services, allowing it to serve both retail and institutional clients. This is the first license for DVA given their operations are from the UAE itself.
As per the Linkedin post, DVA notes that the authorization marks a significant milestone for DVA and establishes the regulatory foundation for the platform we set out to build. The crypto exchange further noted that operating under VARA’s framework reflects the standard of governance, transparency, compliance and client protection that DVA is committed to upholding.
Masood Malik, CEO of DVA stated, “Securing our VARA broker-dealer license marks a pivotal milestone, yet a single regulatory seal is simply the groundwork; it does not define the ceiling of our ambitions. Building a fully compliant, institutional-grade firm in the digital asset space was never going to be easy. It required deep structural precision, patience, and non-negotiable standards.”
VARA Dubai has now issued over 50% of VASP licenses in the UAE, most of them have been crypto exchange or brokerage licenses, but increasingly we are seeing tokenization issuers and exchanges being licensed as well.
