Eligible UAE investors can participate in Crypto.com Tokenized U.S. Stocks

Crypto.com has expanded its tokenized stocks offering to eligible investors in approved jurisdictions, including users in the UAE who meet the platform’s onboarding and verification requirements. The product gives app users price exposure to U.S.-listed equities and exchange-traded funds without requiring them to buy full shares through a traditional brokerage account.

As per the announcement, the launch covers approximately 1,500 underlying stocks and funds, including major U.S. names such as Nvidia, Tesla and Apple, as well as ETFs linked to assets such as gold and silver. Positions can be opened from as little as US$1, making the product accessible to users who want fractional exposure rather than buying an entire share.

Unlike traditional equity markets, Crypto.com’s tokenized stocks are designed to trade around the clock, subject to platform availability and market conditions. The company says the product also offers fractional access, fast settlement and, for a limited introductory period, zero-commission trading, although other costs such as foreign exchange charges or spreads may still apply.

Crucially, the product does not give users legal or beneficial ownership of the underlying shares. The tokenized stocks on offer are derivative financial instruments that track the price performance of the referenced asset. Investors do not receive shareholder voting rights, direct corporate communications or the same legal claims attached to owning common stock, though users may be eligible for dividend-equivalent adjustments under the product terms.

For users outside the European Economic Area, including eligible UAE users, the product terms identify Foris Capital MU Ltd as the provider of the Tokenized Stocks Services. The underlying assets supporting the structure are held through partner and custody arrangements, with Crypto.com pointing to Alpaca, a U.S.-regulated self-clearing broker-dealer, as part of the custody infrastructure behind the offering.

“We’re advancing our multi-asset ecosystem by giving our users a flexible way to invest with instant access to U.S. equity and ETF exposure. Money never sleeps. Market access shouldn’t either,” said Kris Marszalek, Co-Founder and CEO of Crypto.com. “By modernizing one of the world’s oldest asset classes with the speed of blockchain, Tokenized Stocks offers a simple, 24/7 solution to a historically complex trading experience.”
