H20 Hospitality to embed ADI Chain in its business

H2O Hospitality a South Korean hospitality tech company with operations in the UAE, has partnered with The ADI Foundation, an Abu-Dhabi-based organization building sovereign-grade blockchain infrastructure, to embed ADI Chain into real-world hospitality and travel experiences. H2O will use wallets, identity and compliant infrastructure to onboard travelers into blockchain and enable them to pay in AED Stablecoin

As per the agreement, ADI Foundation will develop the solutions to streamline the travel experience, and H2O Hospitality will lead distribution and capabilities to travelers through its guest facing platforms in the UAE and elsewhere.

H2O will embed ADI Chain solutions into the smart check in system, which will enable visitors to open a wallet on arrival and pay in AED stablecoins. Customer data will be streamlined and utilize seamlessly from check in, to payment, to on-site consumption directly via ADI Chain. The partnership will also explore exclusive rewards and loyalty incentives.

Commenting on the partnership, Ajay Bhatia, Principal Council Member of the ADI Foundation, noted that this is part of their commitment to making blockchain practical and offer real world utility.

John Lee, CEO of H2O Hospitality, said as well that by integrating with ADI Chain they are building an innovative infrastructure where tourists can use digital currencies without needing to understand blockchain.

ADI Chain will also power a Dirham-backed stablecoin, currently being developed with IHC, Sirius International and First Abu Dhabi Bank, demonstrating how a regulated stablecoin can operate within a country’s legal and financial system.
