RWA Global and UAE Golden Dolphin develop $300 million China new-energy asset tokenization

RWA Global Inc has entered into a formal advisory agreement with UAE-domiciled Golden Dolphin Trading L.L.C. to support the tokenization of around $300 million in real-world assets linked to China’s new-energy mobility sector.
The agreement positions RWA Global as strategic advisor to Golden Dolphin as the two companies look to build a compliant route for qualified international investors to access PRC new-energy mobility infrastructure through regulated digital securities.
According to the announcement, the engagement is expected to develop in stages, with RWA Global working alongside regulators and qualified counsel on the legal and regulatory structure for foreign investment into tokenized Chinese real-world assets.
The press release states that tokenized real-world assets on-chain now exceed $320 billion, while market projections from firms including Boston Consulting Group and Standard Chartered place the future market opportunity in the trillions by the next decade.
For China, the opportunity is tied to the scale of its new-energy mobility market. The country remains the world’s largest new-energy vehicle market, with the announcement citing roughly 16.5 million new-energy vehicle sales in 2025, representing more than half of new vehicle sales in China and close to 70% of global new-energy vehicle sales.
Charging infrastructure has also expanded quickly. Official data cited in the announcement puts China at more than 19 million charging points by late 2025, with the domestic charging infrastructure market estimated at more than $25 billion and growing at double-digit rates.
These types of capital-intensive, cash-generating assets are increasingly being viewed as suitable candidates for tokenization, as blockchain-based securities can widen the investor base, reduce fundraising friction and create new liquidity channels for traditionally illiquid holdings.
The deal also comes as China moves to define how offshore token issuance backed by onshore assets can take place. The announcement cites a February 2026 framework from the People’s Bank of China, the China Securities Regulatory Commission and other authorities that permits offshore issuance of tokens backed by Chinese assets, subject to regulatory filing.
Earlier Chinese RWA tokenization activity included the tokenization of a portfolio of more than 9,000 EV charging stations in 2023. However, the press release notes that those earlier transactions came before a national regulatory framework, while mainland institutions’ offshore RWA activity was paused in September 2025 pending an official position.
RWA Global said the Golden Dolphin engagement is being structured to comply with the newer regulatory regime, with the aim of creating a repeatable institutional pathway for international capital into Chinese new-energy mobility infrastructure.
Kevin Yunai, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of RWA Global Inc, said the engagement goes beyond one transaction.
“China’s new-energy economy is among the most dynamic in the world, yet global investors have had few compliant ways to participate in it directly. Tokenization changes that,” Yunai said. “Our work with Golden Dolphin is a first step toward building a transparent, regulated bridge between international capital and Chinese real-world assets.”
Donna Tang, Partner at Esquare Legal, said the project could support a broader cross-border investment model tied to China’s clean-energy economy.
“From a legal perspective, this engagement is more than the tokenization of a single asset. It is an early step toward building a compliant offshore bridge between China’s real industrial value and global capital,” Tang said.
