IMARC Group research expects Saudi crypto market to reach $47.8 billion in 2034

In a recent research paper published by IMARC Group, it is expected that the Saudi Arabian cryptocurrency market which reached $24.9 billion in 2025, to grow to $47.8 billion by 2034.

IMARC Group expects notes that the growth rate will reach (CAGR) of 7.51% during 2026-2034.

According to IMARC, the Saudi crypto market is expanding rapidly due to the escalating popularity of fintech innovation, digital assets, and blockchain technology. Moreover, government policies aiding technological innovations, coupled with heightening investments in cryptocurrency infrastructure, are significantly driving growth, positioning the market for further developments in blockchain and trading applications.

In 2024, Chainalysis in its 2024 Geography of Cryptocurrency report covering the MENA region and noted that MENA was the seventh largest crypto market globally in 2024 with the biggest two crypto countries being Turkey and Morocco.

In addition, it noted that the fastest growing crypto countries were Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Saudi Arabia remained the fastest-growing crypto economy in the MENA region, growing by 154% year-over-year, with a focus on blockchain innovation, central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), gaming, and fintech innovation more generally.

In Chainalysis’s 2023 report as well, Saudi Arabia came in third place in terms of crypto growth in MENA region.

However in 2025 according to Chainalysis, MENA saw a modest 33% growth, suggesting a slower pace of adoption relative to other emerging markets, though total volume still exceeded half a trillion dollars.
