First Crypto Exchange receives license from VARA Dubai

After receiving an in-principle approval back in January 2026, First Crypto Exchange (FCE) a UAE-based virtual asset service provider offering crypto brokerage services for qualified institutional and retail investors has now received its full license from VARA Dubai ( Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority).

The crypto exchange founded by Sheikh Rashed Thani Juma Al Maktoum, with Saeed Jaffar Abdulla Alzarooni as Chief Acquisition Officer, is offering OTC crypto services, brokerage services, and institutional grade crypto brokerage services with large block executions.

As per their website, FCE enables seamless conversion between AED and virtual assets, with local bank integration.

The UAE and specifically VARA now has over 48 licensed VASPs. During the past months, more and more UAE homegrown crypto brokers and exchanges are being licensed. Dubai has seen the in priniple approvals for UAE Arbeat, and the licensing of OFZA recently, as well as CoinMENA, and BitOasis in the past.
