UAE Lucid Capital receives $2.5 million in seed round for AI and trading infrastructure

Lucid Capital, a US-born and now UAE-based fintech company specializing in AI-driven algorithmic trading, has closed a $2.5 million Seed funding round to strengthen its trading infrastructure and advance its artificial intelligence research capabilities. The round was led by Saudi Arabia Tharawat Holding, with participation from Singular Link.

In parallel with the equity round, Lucid Capital has also secured $200 million in capital commitments from financial institutions and accredited investors to support the deployment and scaling of its strategies across US equities and digital asset markets.

The $2.5 million seed funding is aimed at supporting the expansion of Lucid Capital’s trading strategies and technology stack as it scales its operations. The newly raised capital will be deployed to advance AI research, expand trading infrastructure, and deepen institutional partnerships, in line with the company’s growth plans across global markets. Lucid Capital focuses on applying artificial intelligence to algorithmic trading, combining quantitative strategies with autonomous AI agents to improve execution efficiency and risk management.

It’s platform relies on advanced AI models and autonomous agents capable of adaptive frequency control, dynamically responding to market conditions, and optimizing real-time trade execution, positioning the company to operate across volatile and fast-moving markets.
