Vista Equity sets up in ADGM to enable investments in tech companies

Vista Equity Partners known as Vista, a global technology investors with over $107 billion in assets under management, investing in over 90 enterprise software companies, has opened its office in Abu Dhabi within ADGM.
Under the legal name VEPM Middle East Limited, Vista has received full authorization from ADGM’s Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA), enabling the firm to advise on investments and arrange deals in investments across the region.
According to the announcement the move is part of Vista’s expansion in the Middle East given the central role of technology investment and innovation in the region. The expansion also reflects Abu Dhabi’s broader ambition to strengthen its position as a globally connected hub for next-generation financial services, technology and digital innovation, supported by the Abu Dhabi Investment Office’s (ADIO’s) FinTech, Insurance, Digital and Alternative Investments (FIDA) cluster.
Vista will also engage with Abu Dhabi’s broader innovation landscape, including opportunities to connect portfolio companies with the market, ecosystem partners and growth opportunities emerging across the region.
