RedotPay receives lending licenses in USA

RedotPay today announced that its subsidiary, Red Dot Lending (US), LLC has obtained its first two state-level US lending licenses one is a Regulated Lender License in Idaho and an Installment Loan Company License in Nebraska, enabling the company to offer certain lending products in both states as it prepares for its launch in the USA. The licenses were granted to Red Dot Lending (US), LLC, a RedotPay subsidiary (NMLS ID: 2818019).
These recent license approvals are an expansion of RedotPay’s licensing strategy. The company has already filed over 20 license applications in other states as it seeks to establish a compliant base for a future US launch.
“Obtaining these US lending licenses is an important step in our regulatory strategy,” said a RedotPay spokesperson. “We are focused on building a compliant foundation to make digital finance more accessible, secure, and efficient around the world.”
These approvals add to RedotPay’s growing portfolio of US regulatory milestones, including a recent state level US Money Transmitter License. RedotPay will then join the likes of Coinbase, Circle, Bitstamp, BitPay, Gemini, and others.
The company also completed an independent review of the AML/CFT controls of RedotPay’s licensed Hong Kong subsidiaries, conducted by a “Big Four firm,” which affirmed the strength of those controls.
The regulatory milestones come as stablecoin-powered payments become increasingly integrated with payment, card, and financial-services infrastructure. RedotPay expects stablecoin-powered cards to reach $50 billion in annualize spend by 2028.
According to RedotPay, the industry has now crossed more than $10.9 billion in cumulative stablecoin card spend, with July 2026 marking the sector’s biggest month to date. The company said stablecoin card volume reached about $1.04 billion in July, compared with roughly $339 million in July 2025, citing data from Paymentscan.
