Copper Securities in UAE receives in principle license approval from ADGM

Copper Securities (ME) Limited (“Copper ME), a member of the Copper Group, a digital assets collateral management and trading infrastructure firm, has received In Principle Approval (IPA) from the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of ADGM, the international financial center of Abu Dhabi, in respect of its Variation of Permission to expand the scope of its regulated activities relating to digital assets.
Once licensed and upon final approval from FSRA, Copper ME will be able to offer secure digital asset custody solutions, as well as ClearLoop, Copper’s off-exchange collateral management infrastructure, rewards programs, enabling compliant, yield generation opportunities for institutional participants, as well as Tokenized Money Market Fund (MMFT) brokerage that will facilitate access to digital financial products.
As per the announcement, Copper Group views Abu Dhabi and its growing digital asset market as a strategic priority.

In 2025 Copper, collaborated with Coinbase, where Copper’s ClearLoop network was integrated with Coinbase International Exchange, providing clients with access to Copper’s off-exchange settlement and collateral management platform.
