ChangeNow non custodial crypto exchange opens headquarters in UAE
In a Khaleej Times article, ChangeNOW, a non-custodial crypto exchange, was noted to be moving its new regional headquarters to Dubai UAE. The offices will be in Dubai in the Convention Tower, at Dubai World Trade Center.
As per the article, ChangeNOW isn’t just here for the “crypto hub” label; the team is looking to tap into the region’s specific blend of high-tier infrastructure and a regulatory environment that understands blockchain. By opening this office, ChangeNOW is signaling its long-term intent to be more than a service provider, becoming a local employer and a contributor to the UAE’s growing tech ecosystem.
Pauline Shangett, chief strategy officer at ChangeNOW, sees this as a meeting of minds: “True leadership is forged in challenging times. While the region navigates current complexities, ChangeNOW is here to provide the partnership it deserves. We trust in the people, technology, and spirit of the UAE. Establishing this office is our commitment to cementing this region as the world’s primary hub for digital innovation.”
As a non custodial crypto exchange ChangeNOW is offering near instant swaps across 110 plus blockchains. It offers its services to currently over 8 million users worldwide and supports over 70+ fiat currencies and digital assets.
In a recent LinkedIn post it noted “while TOKEN2049 Dubai postponed to 2027 we’re not hitting pause. ChangeNOW will see everyone at TOKEN2049 Dubai next year, while we’re already active on the ground in the UAE and heading to TOKEN2049 Singapore this year. Dates can move, but our plans in the region don’t.”
In another post less than a week ago, ChangeNOW noted that filming its documentary frames in Dubai has not been easy, and that is why they are shifting the premiere of the series to April 30th.
“Filming in this region isn’t easy right now, some circumstances are simply bigger than production. That’s why we’re shifting the premiere to April 30. We’re still here, still filming, and not backing down.”
The non-custodial crypto exchange is currently not regulated by VARA in Dubai or by any other regulator in the UAE.
